Anatel Pokki (アナテル・ポッキ, "Anateru Pokki") is a fictional character in the manga and anime series of Shaman King. he entered the Shaman Fights, where he made to the second round and formed Team "Niles" with two of his best friends. Later on, it is revealed that he has a twin brother named Anahol Pokki who would eventually join with Asakura Hao's group.

Anatel is a man of average height. He wears a pair of white dress pants and a white formal suit. Underneath it, he wears a light blue shirt and a green and red striped tie. He wears simple white dress shoes with the golden tips similar to the chin decoration worn by the pharaoh.
He is most often seen wearing a mask reminiscent of King Tut. He has black Egyptian eyeliner around his eyes, a long black goatee similar to the chin decoration worn by Egyptian Pharaoh's, and he had short black curly hair. According to his twin brother Anahol Pokki, he had a very beautiful nose.
Personality
He was a man that was well-liked by his friends. He was rather weird, mostly in a battle where he would be taunting his Shaman opponents.
He is also extremely proud of his Egyptian heritage, believing that the source of his Shamanic Magic was the original and therefore the best. He therefore easily loses his cool during his with Team "X-I" of the X-laws as he saw his teammates easy beaten and were defeated as a great insult to their abilities.

Anatel guardian ghosts are that of Ten Thousands of Egyptian slaves that once build the pyramids. It is said that they carry the curse of Tutankhamun tomb.
History
Past
Anatel is from Giza, Egypt and was born on September 1st, 1967. he was the son of a millionaire and used to be a high government official. He decided to join the Shaman Fights together with his two best friends to prove the greatness of the Egyptian Witchcraft that he had learned from his father.
Shaman Fights Second Round
He found out about the Team stipulation and joined with his best friends Kahfre and Nakht to form Team "Niles" and with Anatel's twin brother Anahol as a back-up. They were paired against Team X-I consisting of Lyserg Diethel, Marco Lasso, and Iron Maiden Jeanne. The match started and Lyserg destroyed Nile's mediums and crippled Anatel in one shot, even destroying his precious mask.
Anatel decided to use everything he had to win. He pulled out the Wings of Death and used it on Lyserg. Lyserg attacked faster but stopped for some unknown reason. Seeing he could not finish it, Jeanne moved Lyserg aside and asked Marco to open the Iron Maiden. Everyone took notice of her enormous power just before Marco opened the maiden. however, Anatel tried to attack Jeanne, starting yelling that little girls like her should be writing in a diary. But he was captured in an Over Souled torture weapon and was killed off by Shamash's Judgement.[1]
Anime/Manga Difference
His role in the anime series is nearly the same as his manga counterpart, however, his team battles with X-I wasn't an official Shaman Fight match. As his twin brother Anahol is a manga-only character who appeared in the manga series, however, there is no mention of Anatel having a twin brother.
Trivia
- In the Game Boy Advance game Shaman King: Master of Spirits 2, Anatel Pokki reappears as an enemy only in the patch village areas by using his O.S wings of death and using his Egyptian Relic Cross to call upon undead Egyptian slaves to aid him in battle[2]
