Badbh (バズヴ Bazuvu) is the Guardian Ghost of Pino Graham.[2]
About[]
Badbh is an Irish goddess of war who uses a crow form as a spirit. She, Morrígan, and Macha form a trinity.[1] She has the power to suck the heat out of anything and freeze it to sub-zero temperatures.[2]
While Pino Graham was studying the teachings and techniques of the goddess Danu, under his father, he and Badbh began to fight each other. Eventually, Pino was able to overpower Badbh and claim her as his Guardian Ghost.[3]
Despite being a Kami Class spirit, she intentionally suppressed her reiryoku to protect Pino and his family.[1]

Description: By integrating Badbh into Pino's staff made from mistletoe, this Over Soul materializes itself as a crow-shaped form around the crook of the staff. The Over Soul's ability is to remove the heat out of any object or area, freezing it and its surroundings to sub-zero temperatures. Pino usually makes use of this technique to freeze bodies of water, so the resulting ice can be used for subsequent attacks.[2]
- Attacks
- Ice Launcher (アイスランチャー Aisu Ranchā): While Pino Graham and Tona Papik Cadimahide ride in Deht's Viking ship Over Soul, Zria holds out Vodyanoy's Over Soul in front of the boat, and Pino freezes the water, generating a multitude of icicles which then bombard the opponent.[4]
- Aurora Borealis (オーロラ北極天 Ōrora Hokkyokuten): Pino gets on top of Cadimahide, and Zria raises her drum. Zria creates a huge mass of water, Pino freezes the water into a big iceberg, and Cadimahide smashes the iceberg into chunks that rain down on an opponent.[5]
Anime/Manga Difference[]
In the manga series, she was only shown in crow form except for once when she fought with Horohoro against Brocken Meyer.
In both anime series, she was shown as a beautiful woman and as a crow only in Over Soul form.
Trivia[]
- Badbh, or Badhbh which is the name of modern times in Irish lore, was considered a omen of the massive bloodshed to come in battle.
- Badbh became a symbol of victory and peace after a mythical battle.
