Bob (ボブ Bobu) is a fictional character in the anime and manga series of Shaman King. He is an American singer and goes under the stage name Soul Bob.

He appears to be a very popular artist who have surpassed the limits of the African-American Music. He sings with a sweet voice and draws everyone in with his flashy performances and lyrics about a world as extensive as the universe. During an annual singing contest in Japan he even elicited the surprise of the elder audience.

Asakura Mikihisa have a large collection of his LP records and because of that, Bob is one of the favorite artists of his son, Asakura Yoh.[1]

History

Bob began gaining popularity in the states during the 1970's and thanks to various hits he has become known in the world of music. Since the 90's his popularity expanded outside the United States, especially in Europe and Japan.[1]
