Appearance

Camel Munzer used to be a tall, slim and white man, with short and straight hair with a little fringe.

Personality

Camel seems to be a level-headed, intelligent and a reasonable man. According to Mikihisa, he used to be a very determined man, who put all his efforts in order to complete his research and build the Golem.

History

Past

He was the father of Redseb and Seyram. He met Asakura Mikihisa when they both stayed in the same tent at Mount Kailash and they became friends. Camel eventually asked Mikihisa to take care of his children and Golem should something happen to him.[1] He was killed on Christmas day by Chocolove McDonell. Before this, he finished the creation of Golem, using human souls as a fuel to the furyoku of the Golem. Nobody knows what happened to his wife, but she eventually returned to the family and became the spirit that controlled the Golem.

Camel eventually came back as a spirit and possessed his daughter from time to time in order to help her pilot the Golem.

Shaman Fights Second Round

When Golem locates Chocolove McDonell and his former gang, Camel possessed Seyram in order to pilot the Golem. While fighting Asakura Yoh, Golem is suddenly caught by Asakura Hao using the Spirit of Fire. It is here that Hao reveals to everyone that Camel is possessing Seyram in order to pilot the Golem. After Hao suggest that Camel reveal the secret behind Golem, Camel lashses out at Hao, frees himself and even mange to destroy Hao´s over soul. [2] Golem is once again caught by Hao when he reforms his over soul, only to rescued by Lyserg Diethel who cuts of the arm of the Spirit of Fire. When Hao recreates the missing arm, Camel is left stunned after reading Hao´s and his guardian ghost' numbers and realize it is impossible for him to fight back.

After Hao leaves and the people around him begins talking about who would become the Shaman King, Camel regains his senses and declares that it will be him and Golem that would take the tittle of Shaman King. Camel attacks Yoh and his friends and target them to recharge Golem's furyoku by consuming their souls. After Tao Ren and Usui Horokeu fails to incapacitate the Golem, they flee with the help of Lyserg Diethel and his Archangel Zelel forcing Camel to chase after them, until they stop in an attempt to have Redseb reason with him. Ignoring Redseb, Camel once again have Golem attack them with the Emeth Blast, only to have it redirected by the recently revived Chocolove and his new Over Soul. After Chocolove tries to reason with Camel, the two engage each other in a fight, with Chocolove gaining the upper hand due to his increase in power and new Over Soul. As they both prepare a final attack on each other, Kyōyama Anna suddenly appears and take them both down with her Shikigami Zenki and Goki. Camel who have somehow regained his senses during the fight, released Seyram from the Golem and apologizes to his children, while asking the people around him to take of his children. As he attempts to activate the Golem's self-destruct before his depature, he is stopped by Anna who want to keep the Golem around as a weapon against Hao and forces Camel to stay in order to teach her how to operate it.

Invading the Plants

Mikihisa later mentioned that Camel had gone to the afterlife in the Great Spirit after once again entrusting him with the care of his children.
