[Episode - Hao] Mappa Doji II (Part 1) (
Short Summary[]
During the events of Shaman King Flowers, Shaman King Hao and a copy of Asakura Yoh chat while waiting for Asakura Hana to return from the Mini Ashura Hell.
In Kyoto of AD 981, Hamono Tadatomo and his apprentice Daitaro find Mappa Doji as the source of a large number of oni. Recognizing the child's potential, Tadatomo takes Mappa Doji as an apprentice, which incites Daitaro's jealousy. Daitaro aids Tadatomo's rival, Yamada Doma, to sabotage an exorcism ceremony that Tadatomo will perform before the Emperor. Mappa Doji learns of Daitaro's plan, but warns him against it; Daitaro is amused with Mappa Doji's desire to transcend human nature. During the ceremony, Daitaro hopes to impress Tadatomo by eliminating the chimimoryo that appear, but Tadatomo unexpectedly stabs Daitaro, revealing that he and Doma had conspired to turn Daitaro into a human shikigami.
