Asakura Yoh awakes within a strange location, after Lady Sati defeats him with a singular attack. After discovering that he was within Hell, thanks to Chocoloves description, Asakura Yoh is greeted by Itako Anna's Oh-Oni. It is revealed that the Oh-Oni was set within hell as a guide to all Shaman whom wish to reach Divine Shaman status, all of this made possible by Lady Sati. Guided by the Oh-Oni, Asakura Yoh is given his instruction: He must defeat the opponent awaiting for him.&nbsp;Asking if he is still getting along with "mother", Asakura Yoh sooths his worry by stating yes. Oh-Oni then states he cannot go any further, leaving Asakura Yoh to face his task alone; his job effectively done. At first, it seems that&nbsp;Asakura Yoh must defeat his father, Asakura Mikihasa, but it is later revealed that he must defeat the strength that stopped Asakura Hao 500 years ago: Asakura Yohken and his oversoul Onigoroshi.
 
 
 
 
Though the task at first seems impossible, Asakura Yohken destroying Asakura Yoh's flesh down to the bone; it is revealed that it is nothing more then a test of will power. Asakura Yoh, discovering that like Oversoul training; it is strictly the minds ability to control the spirit, he manifests his skin and Futsu-no-mitama no Tsurugi along with Harusame to create his newest oversoul, Spirit of Sword:&nbsp;Byakkou. After deflecting a majority of Asakura Yohken's assaults it is revealed that his true spirit, the power that defeated Asakura Hao 500 years ago was none other then Matamune and Dai Tengu. Using Dai Tengu's ultimate attack:Shugen Kijin Shiekihou Gokugi: Kamaizuna, Asakura Yohken is beating back, Asakura Yoh capable of defeating the assault with his new oversoul. After discussing the Asakura family crest, Yohken is seen being destroyed by the Cho-Oni in one attack.
 
 
 
 
After Asakura Yoh recovers, he is able to destroy one Cho-Oni, cutting its arm off; then obliterating it entirely. Pierced in the side by an unknown party, Asakura Yoh turns to see a mass of Cho-Oni guarding a gateway.

The Cho-oni (超鬼, lit. Super Oni,) is a type of Oni in the Manga series of Shaman King.
