Clear Coat (クリアコート Kuriakōto) is the spirit of a chameleon and the Guardian Ghost of Renim.[2]

Clear Coat is the spirit of a large chameleon, and when Over Souled it gives Renim the ability to hide in his surroundings similar to chameleon lizards. It also blocks out other means of detection like sound, Lyserg Diethel's dowsing and Chocolove McDonnell's sense of smell.[2]

Description: When in Over Soul form, Clear Coat creates both silvery head and hand armor on Renim's body, with its tail sprouting from the back of the head segment of armor. While Over Souled, it gives Renim the ability to hide, like a chameleon, not only by blending in with the surrounding environment but also by erasing anything that could be used for detection such as sound, Lyserg Diethel's dowsing, and Chocolove McDonnell's sense of smell.
The full extent of this Over Soul's ability is however not seen, as Opacho, using her abilities, was able to detect Renim from the beginning and easily defeated him by using her own small Over Soul to ram into him and crushing all of the bones in his body.[2]
Anime/Manga Difference[]
Because Renim never appeared in the 2001 anime series, neither did Clear Coat.
