Dong Dehon (
For the Flower of Maize, Dehon is a former Captain and General Manager for Team YVS,[3] until he is demoted following his betrayal.[4]
Appearance[]
Dehon is a tall man with black hair. He wears a dark-colored suit.
Personality[]
Abilities and Powers[]
Dehon lacks natural shamanic abilities, so he is reliant on machines such as the Karakuri Doji, which were constructed by Dong Suhon.[5]
Spirit[]
- See More: Ju-Che
His Guardian Ghost is the Holy Beast Ju-Che of the South, which has the ability to control space-time. He controls Ju-Che through a small bell that has a carving of a Vermillion Bird.[2][6] Additionally, Ju-Che can split into pieces and combine with Dehon, creating an artificial New Trance.[5]
History[]
Past[]
Dehon and his sister Shahon accompanied Kamogawa Yohsuke to the Patch Village. After Asakura Hana killed Yohsuke, Dehon stopped time so he could retrieve Yohsuke's body while Shahon erased Hana's memories of the events.[6]
Red Crimson[]
Years later, Dehon and his siblings gather together to confront Tao Jun. When Usui Horokeu confronts Dong Yonhon, Dehon suddenly appears behind Horokeu and his companions.[7] After introducing himself and Ju-Che, Dehon insists that the outsiders stay out of their family's dispute, but Horokeu refuses, pointing out that Yonhon brought in an outsider to kill Tao Jeanne. When Yonhon laughs it off, Horokeu attacks, but using Ju-Che's ability, Dehon stops the attack and then brings Jun and Lee Pyron down from the roof. After some bickering among the siblings, Dehon explains the Dong Family's history with shamanism and their strength as the Four Holy Beasts. Acknowledging their overwhelming power, Jun questions why they still made Honhon attack her. As fighting breaks out between Jun and Honhon, Dehon simply watches until Tao Ren interrupts.[2]
Dehon introduces himself to Ren and notes that Yonhon escaped, but Ren claims to have let him escape. Although they both bring out their spirits to test Ren's claim, neither initiates attack, and Dehon acknowledges that Ren could have killed them before. The Dong Family then departs, and Dehon warns Ren and his companions about the Flower of Maize. As Honhon follows after Dehon, she asks if the Dong Family would free of their suffering if the Tao Family were gone, which he affirms.[8] Upon returning to their estate, the siblings (except Honhon) have a meeting.[9]
After Honhon and Jun's final fight, the siblings have another meeting, during which Dong Suhon calls Dehon to inform him that Tao Chin released the Four Perils and that a truce has been called between the Dong and Tao Families. Dehon is pleased to hear that everything is going according to plan. When Keihon dismisses the Four Perils' strength, Dehon questions if they might be as powerful as the Four Holy Beasts, which worries Keihon. Shahon points out that there is too much mystery surrounding the Four Perils but they will find out in the Flower of Maize. Dehon then suggests that Yonhon talks with Honhon.[10]
Marcos[]
With Suhon's permission, Spimea Lasso meets with the Four Holy Beasts and enlists their help in assassinating the angel Marco Lasso.[11] The siblings infiltrate the private island mansion where Marco is sleeping and attempt to assassinate the boy while time is stopped. Keihon questions why they are not also killing Luchist and the other X-Laws, and Dehon reminds him that they had agreed to only kill Marco. Shen Woo asks to be the one to kill Marco, but Dehon refuses the spirit's help. When they enter the bedroom, however, Shen Woo acts on his own, stabbing his hand through the sleeping boy. As Dehon is reprimanding Shen Woo, the sleeping Marco is revealed to be an Over Soul fake made with Morphin. Luchist then confronts the Dong siblings[12] and detonates a bomb in the mansion.[13] The four siblings escape the blast radius thanks to the boosting effect of Pai-Fu.[14]
Flowers[]
The Dong siblings travel to Kyoto, Japan and during the journey, they discuss how Lucifer split himself into pieces and one piece became Dainichi Nyorai. At the meeting Team YVS and Daremoine in Kyoto Tower, Sati Saigan greets her fellow members of Daremoine and brings Dainichi so he can be rejoined with Lucifer. When Dainichi fights back,[15] the Dong siblings defeat him and destroy his statue medium. The siblings then watch as Phillip M. Wyden mocks Sati and Niaes Varge stabs her. However, the meeting is interrupted by the sudden arrival of Tetts[16] and Hana.[17]
When Peyote Diaz and Yun Namukada's fight quakes Kyoto Tower, Master MO orders the Dong siblings to put a stop to the fight. As the siblings head out, Hana yells at everyone for ignoring him, but Dehon points out that it is an advantage for Hana before requesting that Hana save their boss.[18]
In the underground tunnel, the siblings are confronted by Team Marcos, who stopped Peyote and Yun themselves. Dehon activates his artificial New Trance in order to fight Marco Lasso[5] and let his siblings escape.[19] After Marco knocks down Dehon, Suhon takes over his grandson's body and fights Marco.[20] After defeating Marco, Suhon leaves with the Four Holy Beasts.[21]
