Dong Keihon (
For the Flower of Maize, Keihon is a former Captain for Team YVS,[3] until he is demoted following his betrayal.[4]
Appearance[]
Keihon is a skinny man with messy, medium-length, dark-colored hair. He has a thin nose and buckteeth, giving him a rat-like face.
Personality[]
Although he tries to act calm and brave, Keihon is actually quite insecure and craven and will panic and cower in the face of anyone who stands up to him.[2][5][6]
Like the rest of his family, Keihon dislikes the Tao Family and seeks their destruction.[2] He also thinks little of the Lasso Family, willing to renege on an agreement with them.[6]
Abilities and Powers[]
Keihon lacks natural shamanic abilities, so he is reliant on machines such as the Karakuri Doji, which were constructed by Dong Suhon.[7]
Spirit[]
- See More: Shen Woo
His Guardian Ghost is the Holy Beast Shen Woo of the North.[2] Unbeknownst to Keihon, the spirit is actually sealed within himself, and he acts as a server for the corresponding Karakuri Doji.[8] The robot has a habit of talking down to Keihon[2] and acting out on his own.[6] Additionally, the robot can split into pieces and combine with Keihon, creating an artificial New Trance through dimensional transfer.[8]
History[]
Past[]
Keihon was among the talented children gathered by Daremoine and subjected to Dong Suhon's experiment of sealing the Four Holy Beasts into children. Keihon survived having Shen Woo sealed into him, so he was adopted by the Dong Family, made one of the Four Holy Beasts, and given a Karakuri Doji.[8]
Red Crimson[]
At Dong Dehon's request, Keihon and his siblings gather together to confront Tao Jun. When Shen Woo suggests killing Jun and her allies, Keihon reminds him that they have a different goal for this meeting, but Shen Woo glares back and talks down to Keihon, who begs for forgiveness. After Dehon properly introduces himself and the Dong Family, Keihon gloats about their strength over the Tao Family and mocks the new Shaman King Asakura Hao. As fighting breaks out, Tao Ren interrupts,[2] and Yonhon immediately flees, which annoys Keihon since Yonhon had been goading their enemies. The Dong siblings all leave after Dehon and Ren mutually stand down from a fight.[9]
Upon returning to their estate, the siblings (except Honhon) have a meeting.[10]
After Honhon and Jun's final fight, the siblings have another meeting, during which Dong Suhon calls Dehon to inform him that Tao Chin has released the Four Perils and that a truce has been called between the Dong and Tao Families. Keihon dismisses the Four Perils' strength, but Dehon questions if they might be as powerful as the Four Holy Beasts, which worries Keihon. Shahon points out that there is too much mystery surrounding the Four Perils but they will find out in the Flower of Maize.[5]
Marcos[]
With Suhon's permission, Spimea Lasso meets with the Four Holy Beasts and enlists their help in assassinating the angel Marco Lasso.[11] The siblings infiltrate the private island mansion where Marco is sleeping and attempt to assassinate the boy while time is stopped. Keihon questions why they are not also killing Luchist and the other X-Laws, and Dehon reminds him that they had agreed to only kill Marco. Shahon and Yonhon urge caution in dealing with Marco and the Lasso Family. However, Shen Woo acts on his own, stabbing his hand through the sleeping boy. Keihon tries to assuage the tense situation, but Shen Woo points out that the Marco was an Over Soul fake made with Morphin. Luchist then confronts the Dong siblings[6] and detonates a bomb in the mansion.[12] The four siblings escape the blast radius thanks to the boosting effect of Pai-Fu.[13]
Flowers[]
The Dong siblings travel to Kyoto, Japan and make a reservation at the Buddhist inn Chizubo.[14] During the journey, they discuss how Lucifer split himself into pieces and one piece became Dainichi Nyorai.[1] Keihon later calls and cancels the siblings' reservation at the inn.[14] At the meeting Team YVS and Daremoine in Kyoto Tower, Sati Saigan greets her fellow members of Daremoine and brings Dainichi so he can be rejoined with Lucifer. When Dainichi fights back,[15] the Dong siblings defeat him and destroy his statue medium. The siblings then watch as Phillip M. Wyden mocks Sati and Niaes Varge stabs her. However, the meeting is interrupted by the sudden arrival of Tetts[16] and Asakura Hana.[17]
When Peyote Diaz and Yun Namukada's fight quakes Kyoto Tower, Master Mo orders the Dong siblings to put a stop to the fight.[18] In the underground tunnel, the siblings are confronted by Team Marcos, who stopped Peyote and Yun themselves. Dehon activates his artificial New Trance in order to fight Marco Lasso[7] and let his siblings escape.
They flee to Chizubo but are stopped by Hans and Teruko Reiheit. The couple transform into the New Trances and begin squabbling with each other.[14] The three siblings initially stay out of the fight because they believe themselves weaker than Hans and Teruko; however, Suhon takes control of the siblings, forces them into their own artificial New Trances, and defeats Hans and Teruko.[19] Afterwards, Suhon leaves with the Four Holy Beasts' Karakuri Doji,[20] and the Dong siblings are removed from their positions in Team YVS.[21]
The next morning, all four Dong siblings accompany Hana back to Chizubo.[22]
