Dong Shahon (
For the Flower of Maize, Shahon is a former Captain for Team YVS,[3] until she is demoted following her betrayal.[4]
Appearance[]
Shahon is a slender woman with long, dark-colored hair. On the left side of her head, she has three feathers and strands of beads pinned in her hair. She wears a tight-fitting dress with flowers on the lower left side. She also wears a small, sleeveless jacket that is pinned closed at her neck.
Personality[]
Unlike her siblings, Shahon is not preoccupied with destroying the Tao Family and considers it a "trifling dispute."[2] She chooses to focus on the long-term goals rather than the more immediate ones.[5]
Abilities and Powers[]
Shahon lacks natural shamanic abilities, so she is reliant on machines such as the Karakuri Doji, which were constructed by Dong Suhon.[6]
Spirit[]
- See More: Chinron
Her Guardian Ghost is the Holy Beast Chinron of the East[2] and has the ability to manipulate memories.[7] Unbeknownst to Shahon, the spirit is actually sealed within herself, and she acts as a server for the corresponding Karakuri Doji.[8] She controls the robot through a small bell that has a carving of an Azure Dragon.[7] Additionally, the robot can split into pieces and combine with Shahon, creating an artificial New Trance through dimensional transfer.[8]
History[]
Past[]
Shahon was among the talented children gathered by Daremoine and subjected to Dong Suhon's experiment of sealing the Four Holy Beasts into children. Shahon survived having Chinron sealed into her, so she was adopted by the Dong Family, made one of the Four Holy Beasts, and given a Karakuri Doji.[8]
Shahon and her brother Dehon accompanied Kamogawa Yohsuke to the Patch Village. After Asakura Hana killed Kamogawa Yohsuke, Dehon retrieved Yohsuke's body while Shahon used Chinron's ability to erase Hana's memories of the events.[7]
Red Crimson[]
Years later, at Dehon's request, Shahon and her siblings gather together to confront Tao Jun. As fighting breaks out, Tao Ren interrupts.[2] After seeing that neither Dehon nor Ren intended to seriously fight, Shahon leaves to attend to more pressing business that night.[5]
Marcos[]
With Suhon's permission, Spimea Lasso meets with the Four Holy Beasts and enlists their help in assassinating the angel Marco Lasso.[9] The siblings encounter Hans Reiheit on the beach, but Shahon uses Chinron's ability to make him forget seeing them. The siblings then infiltrate the private island mansion where Marco is sleeping and attempt to assassinate the boy while time is stopped. Keihon questions why they are not also killing Luchist Lasso and the other X-Laws, and Dehon reminds him that they had agreed to only kill Marco. Shahon and Yonhon also urge caution in dealing with Marco and the Lasso Family. Shahon pulls out a dagger to kill Marco, but Shen Woo acts on his own, stabbing his hand through the sleeping boy and revealing it to be an Over Soul fake made with Morphin. Luchist then confronts the Dong siblings[10] and detonates a bomb in the mansion.[11] The four siblings escape the blast radius thanks to the boosting effect of Pai-Fu.[12]
Flowers[]
The Dong siblings travel to Kyoto, Japan and make a reservation at the Buddhist inn Chizubo, but it is later cancelled.[13] During the journey, they discuss how Lucifer split himself into pieces and one piece became Dainichi Nyorai.[1] At the meeting Team YVS and Daremoine in Kyoto Tower, Sati Saigan greets her fellow members of Daremoine and brings Dainichi so he can be rejoined with Lucifer. When Dainichi fights back,[14] the Dong siblings defeat him and destroy his statue medium. The siblings then watch as Phillip M. Wyden mocks Sati and Niaes Varge stabs her. However, the meeting is interrupted by the sudden arrival of Tetts[15] and Hana.[16]
When Peyote Diaz and Yun Namukada's fight quakes Kyoto Tower, Master Mo orders the Dong siblings to put a stop to the fight.[17] In the underground tunnel, the siblings are confronted by Team Marcos, who stopped Peyote and Yun themselves. Dehon activates his artificial New Trance in order to fight Marco Lasso[6] and let his siblings escape.
They flee to Chizubo but are stopped by Hans and Teruko Reiheit. The couple transform into their New Trances and begin squabbling with each other.[13] The three siblings initially stay out of the fight because they believe themselves weaker than Hans and Teruko; however, Suhon takes control of the siblings, forces them into their own artificial New Trances, and defeats Hans and Teruko.[18] Afterwards, Suhon leaves with the Four Holy Beasts' Karakuri Doji,[19] and the Dong siblings are removed from their positions in Team YVS.[4]
The next morning, all four Dong siblings accompany Hana back to Chizubo.[20]
