El Chaba (エル・チャバ Eru Chaba) is a fictional character in the Shaman King Marcos manga series. He was the boss of a Mexican drug cartel.[1]

After Peyote Diaz inadvertently protected members of the cartel, El Chaba tracked down Peyote and tried to recruit him as a guard for his cartel. Peyote refused the offers and instead asked to be killed. Puzzled, El Chaba did not wish to harm Peyote, so Peyote wandered off.[1]
After Larch Dirac and Hans Reiheit were seen taking Peyote to a motel, El Chaba mistakenly believed that the DEA had taken in Peyote since Larch was working for the DEA. Members of El Chaba's cartel attacked the motel room in order to retrieve Peyote; however, Larch killed the adults and let the children go.[2]
Later that night, El Chaba was having a meeting with his men at his compound and coordinating how best to hinder the DEA, as well as to recruit Peyote. To El Chaba's surprise, Peyote interrupted and used his new Over Soul with Santa Muerte to kill them all.[3]
