Hana-Gumi is the 39th episode of Shaman King the anime series.

Summary

As Yoh and the others are planning where to go, the Lily Five show up and ask Yoh and the others if they need a ride. As Yoh tells Sharona the directions they where given by the Four Seminoan Warriors, Sharona runs back to the car and then the Lily Five drives away without taking Yoh and the others with them. Meanwhile, Hao is seen telling three girls to "visit" Yoh, but not to kill him. Later on as Anna and the others are seen climbing a mountain, they bump into Hao. As Anna asks Hao if he intends to stop her from giving the Cho-Senjiryakketsu to Yoh, Hao states that he wants Yoh to get it as soon as possible so he can "help" him. As Anna states that Hao's talking nonsense and tries to slap him, Hao stops her and states that he likes her. Anna then uses her other hand to slap Hao. Hao then tells Anna to deliver the Cho-Senjiryakketsu to Yoh soon, then he flies away on the Spirit of Fire.

Meanwhile as Yoh and the others are trying to find out where to go, they get ambushed by the three girls that Hao told to "visit" Yoh, the Hana-Gumi. As Kanna states that Yoh is weak because he is using a human spirit, she lets het spirit, Ashcroft, attack Yoh. As Yoh and the others attack the Hana-Gumi, they are easily able to dodge all their attacks. Meanwhile, Anna and the others are seen stopping the Lili Five's car. Meanwhile, Yoh and the others are having difficulties while fighting the Hana-Gumi. At the same time, Anna and the others have kind of hijacked the Lily Five's car and are now heading towards Yoh. Meanwhile, Yoh is the only one standing after the Hana-Gumi have taken down the others. As Yoh attacks the Hana-Gumi, they are easily able to dodge the attack and attack Yoh instead. As Kanna lets Ashcroft attack Yoh with the intention to kill him, Anna shows up and uses Zenki and Goki, the shikigami she sealed, to defeat Ashcroft. The Hana-Gumi then retreat while stating that Hao told them not to get involved with her.

Later on as everyone is surprised to see each other again, Hao is seen thanking the Hana-Gumi for doing good work. Hao then states that the Cho-Senjiryakketsu is next. Later on, Lyserg is seen with Marco. Marco then states that Lyserg's new suit looked good and that their leader will bless Lyserg.
