Honoh Tamegoroh (タメ五郎 Tamegoroh) is a is a fictional character in the manga and anime series of Shaman King.

About

Tamegoroh is the spirit of an old man and the previous owner of the onsen where Asakura Yoh resides. During Tamegoroh's time, it was known as the Flame Inn (民宿 炎, Minshuku-En). He died when the inn mysteriously burned down and Tamegoroh refuses to divulge what caused the fire, though it is believed that he was responsible.[1]

Since his death, he has haunted the inn, moving from toilet to toilet, until he was forcibly exorcised and now awaits reincarnation within the Great Spirit[1]. Upon the establishment of Funbari Onsen, Tamegoroh's picture has been placed at the onsen's altar alongside portraits of Asakura Mikihisa and Johann George Faust VIII.
