In the end, Faustus died a terrible death when Mephistopheles came to claim his soul at the end of the seven year contract.
In Shaman KingEdit
Johann Faust I is the ancestor of Johann Faust VIII. He was a necromancer who lived in the 1500's in Germany. He had made a deal with the demon Mephistopheles and thus gained immeasurable power. He took part in the Shaman King tournament but before he became Shaman King he was killed by the demon.
His knowledge however was sealed away in a dark chamber where it was later discovered by Johann Faust VIII.
