The Knights Templar (テンプラ騎士団 Tenpura Kishi-dan) are a fictional group in the Shaman King Flowers manga and anime series. They are the ten Patch Officiants from the Shaman Fight in AD 1500. Following Fra YVS' rise as Shaman King, these ten officiants converted into followers of the new god.[1]

Per tradition in the Patch Tribe, the ten officiants of the Shaman Fight convert into followers of the new Shaman King. After Fra YVS won in AD 1500, the officiants became the Knights Templar, a group of armored holy warriors.[1] Despite becoming his followers, none of them approved of his underhanded methods of winning the tournament, such as paying his subordinates and blackmailing his opponents.[2]
The Knights Templar as bikers
During the 500 years in the Great Spirit, they became a biker gang and opened the bar, Patcy Cat.[1]
For the Flower of Maize, the Knights Templar were given physical form through Dimensional Shifting, since resurrection is forbidden.[3] Because of this, they simply return to their commune when they are killed.[4]

As former Shaman Fight officiants,[1] they are powerful shamans capable of creating Over Souls with their dinosaur spirits.[5][6]

- Japanese spelling of the actual Knights Templar is Tenpuru Kishi-dan (テンプル騎士団) while "tempura" means a type of popular Japanese dish.
