Liam Diethel(リアム ダイゼル, Riamu Daizeru) is a fictional character in the manga and anime series of Shaman King. He is the father of one of the series main characters Lyserg Diethel.
Appearance
Liam is a tall, lean man. His hair is a deep forest green, while his eyes are an apple green, like Lyserg. He has a very strong resemblance to Marco, of the X-LAWS.
Personality
Abillities and Powers
Liam is the world's number one, most famous detective. He uses a crystal, dousing pendulum, as well as his spirit, Morphine (which are, both, passed down to Lyserg, before Liam's death). He uses these tools, to aid him in his detective work, which is why he became so famous.

His guardian ghost was Morphine(Chloe in the english anime; Morphea in the english manga) a pixie fairy, that has been passes on from generation to generation in the Diethel family. Before he died, he passed it on to his son, Lyserg Diethel
History
Past
Liam and his wife Jane Ditehel lived in London, England, where Liam worked as douser and trained his son, Lyserg Diethel, in the same arts. He set a task for Lyserg, to find a special key, that would unlock a cage, that contained his future spirit ally, Morphine. One day, however, Lyserg would return home, from succeeding his task, and finds his house on fire and both of his parents dead, with Asakura Hao standing in between the two corpses.
