Lilirara (リリララ, Ririrara) appears in both the anime and the manga. Lilirara, a member of the Seminoa tribe, is angry at the Patch tribe and believes that the Patch tribe massacred her ancestors. She tries to prevent the shamans of this present Shaman Fight from reaching the Patch Village, telling them that the Patch are really killers, and that the same fate that befell the Seminoa will befall them. Asakura Hao later reveals that it was he, not the Patch, who killed the Seminoa. Hao then kills Lilirara in the manga right after Asakura Yoh and his cohorts leave her to go to Patch Village.

Appearance

Lilirara is an native American woman of average height. She wears a white button up shirt and a neat skirt with some brown shoes. She has a Seminoa symbol tattooed under her left eye.

Personality

Lilirara was raised never to forget her Seminoa heritage and can not let go of her past. She believed heavily that the Patch were evil doers, due to what Patch Hao once did to five Seminoan warriors. However after talking to Asakura Yoh and his friends, she did lighten up before her death.

History

Past

Lilirara was born to Seminoa parents which drilled into her the Seminoa history from a young age. She was tattooed at a young age too. She was forced into being a shaman by her parents and was given four Seminoa warriors from the last Shaman Fight.

Travel through America

Lilirara was first seen commenting on the shaman fight and prepares to stop any approaching shaman. She stops Yoh and company and attacks them with wooden dolls. Ren kicks one and comments how weak they are. A Seminoa warrior comes out of it and cuts off Ren's leg. Lilirara commands her oversouls to cut Ryu in half, pierce yoh's heart, and cut horohoro's arm off. Yoh and company are really in one piece and they wonder what just happened. Lilirara explains that those were just memories and tells them that the memories flooded them and that why they felt pain.

Lilirara offers them the chance to experience the past of the Seminoa to which Yoh and company accept. She commands her oversouls to take hold of of Yoh and gang. She the narrates what happened during the last shaman fight. When it was over she turns to leave but is stop by three more shamans from this fight. They attack her but Horohoro easily beats them senseless.

Lilirara gives Yoh and company a map to get to their next destination. They leave and Lilirara says there is more work to be done. Hao impales her saying "not for you there isn't". Lilirara now realizes that Yoh was right in that Hao is alive and asks what Hao is. She tries to use oversoul but her warriors are already destroyed by the Spirit of Fire. Hao burns the three shamans that Horohoro beat and burns Lilirara down to her soul and lets the spirit of fire devour her soul. Hao says that he was Patch once and leaves the scene.

Anime/Manga Differences

Lilirara does not die in the anime, but helps Asakura Yoh to find Patch Village. In the manga she is killed by Asakura Hao.
