Mr. C (C氏 C-shī) is a fictional character in the Shaman King manga and anime series. He is the Shaman King of AD 1.[1]
Appearance[]
He appears to be a man in his 30s, so far only his silhouette has been seen. He wears a tunic and what appears to be a crown of thorns on his head.

As a Shaman King, Mr. C had the Great Spirit as his Guardian Ghost and possessed immense power over the Earth.

Past[]
In AD 1, Mr. C participated in the Shaman Fight and, despite being betrayed by a member of his team, emerged victorious, becoming the Shaman King.[1]

After Asakura Hao became Shaman King in AD 2000, Fra YVS and four others of the G8 objected to Hao's plan for the future of humanity. When the G8 Summit could not reach an agreement, a Flower of Maize competition was called.[2]

- Mr. C is first mentioned by Oyamada Manta when he is speculating about historical figures who might have been past Shaman Kings.[3]
- Mr. C is based on Jesus Christ, the founder of Christianity.
- Mr. C mentions that during his time the perception of the Shaman King changed from "King of the Stars" to "Savior".[1]
