Ohachiyo (乙破千代 ) is a fictional character in the Shaman King manga and anime series. He is a small rabbit-like oni that once took care of the orphaned Asaha Doji who would later be known as Asakura Hao.
About[]
200 years prior to meeting Asaha Doji, Ohachiyo was a criminal who was eventually executed. As his corpse was left on the ground, a puppy fed on the body, and the criminal possessed the puppy. As the time passed on, his spiritual appearance gradually turned into his later form by possessing a dog for years.
Ohachiyo met Asaha Doji soon after the boy lost his mother and became convinced he was a demon meant to exterminate humans. The two later became friends and the demon gave him the nickname, "Mappa Doji" (
Ohachiyo later appeared within the Great Spirit and revealed to Hao that he had always been in the same society as his mother, right next to him.[2]
