Short Summary[]
While watching the fight, Goldva and the Patch Officiants debate whether or not they should allow Asakura Hao and his followers to continue.
Umemiya Ryunosuke tries attacking the Vampire Bats before they suck too much of his blood, but they simply multiply with each strike. Lyserg Diethel succumbs to Boris's control and pins Asakura Yoh to the ground. The bats return to Boris, making him stronger, so Tokageroh runs away in fear. Boris's companions then continue onward to the Patch Village.
Standing back up, Ryu realizes how similar he and Boris are, and Tokageroh reveals that Boris's cape is indeed made of blood.
