Sense of Loss (喪失感 Sōshitsukan) is the 4th episode of the Shaman King Flowers anime series.
Summary[]
Oboro Daikyoh explains his past as he and Amidamaru duel. Meanwhile, a man is spying on the boys and their spirits.
On the way back to class, Asakura Hana warns Yohane about the amount of attention that new students garner from their classmates. Yohane looks forward to it and realizes that he is Hana's first friend. However, when they return to the classroom, another new student is introduced: Alumi Numbirch, who steals the attention from Yohane and then embarrasses both Hana and Yohane.
At the same time, Asakura Luca introduces herself to her new classmates, and Ichihara Ryuji becomes smitten with her and vows to protect her.
Hana later convinces Yohane to skip school and visit the new mall. As Amidamaru and Daikyoh explore the mall on their own, Hana and Yohane settle down to eat takoyaki. When Yohane struggles to pick them up, Hana feeds him one, at which point Alumi catches them. Before leaving, she warns them to protect their Guardian Ghosts.
As the boys continue walking through the mall, Yohane invites Hana back to his place, but they are interrupted on the escalator by Luca, who has convinced Ryuji and his gang to fight Hana for her. Hana tries to summon his Over Soul, but Luca reveals that she has petrified Amidamaru, which leaves Hana defenseless against Ryuji's attack.
