For the Flower of Maize, her Guardian Ghost is the devil Lilith, and she is capable of performing New Trance with Lilith.[7]
History[]
Past[]
Spimea and Luchist in their youth
Spimea was the one who raised Luchist Lasso. When Luchist became an adult and by his own request, Spimea gave him a job as priest and an inquisitor, an assassin working for the Lasso Family, with the goal of killing Asakura Hao whom they learned was about to reincarnate. After Luchist failed to kill Hao when they first learned of his reincarnation and location, Spimea informed Luchist that Fra YVS had changed his plan and was going to allow Hao to become Shaman King. Spimea kept tabs on Luchist, including his adoption of the orphan Marco Lasso, his trip into Big Heaven, and the new orphanage he was building together with Marco, to which Spimea even donated.[10]
When Asakura Hao burned down the chapel and the orphanage, Spimea rushed there, but was too late, as everything had already burned down to the ground and all she could do was watch Luchist and Marco Lasso attempt to save the children.[2]
Spimea used Niaes Varge's parents for their talents but now holds them hostage in order to motivate Nieas to become stronger.[5][11]
In 2012, Spimea had Tamurazaki Midori send the robot YVS to Kamogawa Yohsuke.[12]
Marcos[]
Spimea approached Lyserg Diethel and John Denbat at the ruins of Luchist and Marco's orphanage. After praying for the lost souls, she introduced herself, which incited Lyserg to summon the Spirit of Fire. However, he backed down when she threatened to kill both men and instead offered a peaceful discussion. She revealed that she too was searching for Marco.[2] When John grabbed his grenade launcher and fired O.S. "Raphael", Spimea summoned Lucifer and easily destroyed John's Over Soul, causing John to lose consciousness. She then bid them farewell and offered to supply them with weapons if they ever needed them.[9]
Around the same time, Spimea used her international connections to get the X-Laws removed from their government and military positions, as well as to shoot down the Leidi Group's group plane carrying Hans and Teruko Reiheit. She was informed of the success while she drove to her family's underground facility for a meeting with other Daremoine executives.[3] Spimea asked Yohane if there were any limits on her actions in collecting the piece of Lucifer, to which Yohane responded that she could kill as needed. Spimea then promptly left the meeting. Outside, she received a call from an informant in MI6 that according to Luchist's message to Lyserg, Marco was at Mont Saint-Michel. However, she questioned its veracity since past inspections of the island and its tourists had turned up nothing, and it could be a distraction by Luchist.[13]
Spimea decided to follow the lead anyways and confronted the X-Laws, who had also gathered there. Before the fighting started, Lyserg questioned Spimea's motives, but she refused to answer since they were enemies. Lucifer easily and quickly defeated the Mobile Angels, even Azazel. As Lucifer clashed with the Spirit of Fire, Lyserg shook Spimea when he correctly guessed that Marco had something the Lasso Family feared. Although the flames reached and burned Spimea, she pointed out that Lyserg was still holding back. Before she could shoot the Spirit of Fire, Luchist's Lucifer forced them apart. Having left the X-Laws alive to draw out Luchist, Spimea requested the Luchist's piece of Lucifer so she could recreate the real Lucifer. Luchist then pointed out a golden Iron Maiden in the monastery's steeple, revealing that it contained the reincarnated Marco.[14] Marco awoke and used his angelic power to destroy Spimea's right eye and right arm. As she fled, Luchist turned over his piece of Lucifer so that she would have less reason to chase them.[15]
Later, while waiting in the VIP lounge of an airport, Spimea invited Yohsuke and Niaes to join her and offered them seats on her private jet. Although Yohsuke gladly accepted, Niaes refused due to her dislike of Spimea and the Lasso Family. After Niaes dumped her drink on Spimea, the woman calmly revealed her injuries and then commented on the girl's parents, while refilling her drink. At the mention of her parents, Niaes acquiesced, accepting the plane offer, but still walked away in anger. Yohsuke chided Spimea for using Niaes' real name, but Spimea changed the subject to how she had recovered the pieces of Lucifer. She then left on her own, promising to give Yohsuke a report on recent events later.[5]
Spimea borrowed the Four Holy Beasts from Dong Suhon and sent them to assassinate Marco.[16] However, Luchist foiled the plot and detonated explosives in facilities, bases, and homes belonging to the Lasso and Dong Families,[17] temporarily crippling the families' operations.
Spimea and Suhon met up for a chat, but their discussion was interrupted by a furious call from Phillip M. Wyden, who criticized Spimea's mishandling of Luchist. After the call, she apologized to Suhon for risking the lives of his grandchildren, but he blamed them for not being observant enough and reported that they had safely escaped the blast.[18]
Flowers[]
Spimea travelled to Kyoto Tower for the meeting of Daremoine and Team YVS and the ritual to reunite the pieces of Lucifer.[19] Spimea was pleased to see Sati Saigan submit herself before the executives of Daremoine, as well as for bringing Dainichi Nyorai, another piece of Lucifer. However, everyone was shocked when Senju refused to submit himself due to Sati's influence.[20] Spimea watched as the Dong siblings fought and defeated Senju.[21] Disgusted by Sati's attitude, Niaes stabbed her with O.S. "Jeanne Schwarz", but Hana's arrival interrupted the meeting before Niaes could kill Sati.[22][23]
When Yun Namukada and Peyote Diaz's fight began shaking Kyoto Tower, Phillip M. Wyden asked Spimea her opinion on the New Trance clash. She insisted that it was up to him since the Flower of Maize would be under his jurisdiction. Master Mo ordered the Dong siblings to put a stop to the fight. Hana then shouted for everyone to stop ignoring him and called out their unusual appearances, except for Spimea because she was too scary.[24] Spimea called off Niaes from killing Sati and then complimented Sati's resolve; Sati accepted her role as the false messiah, Miroku, but still intended to save everyone. Pleased by this development, Spimea summoned the devil Moloch and bestowed it on Sati, fusing them in a New Trance, "Miroku-Moloch."[6] Spimea was taken aback by Hana's laughing in reaction to Sati's transformation. Phillip urged her to kill Hana, but Master Mo decided to take the matter into his own hands, transforming into a dragon and attacking the boy. However, Sati stopped the dragon, and the two locked into a struggle. Spimea then transformed into her New Trance, "Spimea-Lilith", and threatened Master Mo in defense of Sati. She assured Master Mo that Sati could no longer disobey her.
With the fighting over, Hana sat down in an attempt to befriend Yohsuke.[7] Amused by Hana, Master Mo stood down, releasing his transformation, and called in Hana's parents, Yoh and Anna, who are Phillip's Helpers on Team Gilgames.[25] Spimea also released her transformation and then, along with Phillip, watched the fight between Suhon (controlling Dong Dehon's body) and Team Marcos. With the battle threatening the tower's integrity, Spimea suggested evacuating Daremoine's members and guests. While Phillip worried about their investors and covering up the situation, Spimea was more concerned with the organization's true power and told him to use the Dong Family's space-time manipulation to help cover the events. As she left, she fumed over Suhon's rebellious actions, believing his emulation of Luchist was a declaration of war against her.[26]
Later that night, Spimea visited the hospital where Sati was recovering, and was delighted to see that the rest of the Moxy 6 were at Sati's bedside.[27] They traveled to Tokyo, and from the top of Tokyo Skytree, Spimea spied on Yohsuke, who was seeking asylum at Funbari Onsen.[28]
