Suzu (鈴) is a fictional character in the manga series of Shaman King.
About
Suzu was the fiancée of Shimamura Jōtarō and developed a taste for American music from Joe. They often held parties together with their friends where Jōtarō would sing for them. But doing World War II, people began considering American music as the enemy's music. They called Jōtarō a traitor and stopped coming to their parties.
Jōtarō was eventually drafted for the military and left, happily saying that he would make the enemies their friends again and bring them back home. Suzu would wait for him at the Izumo train station, but Jōtarō later died and eventually so did she. Suzu's spirit stayed and continued to wait for him on a bench at the train station, becoming an Earthbound Spirit.
