Uhh... yes it is! Lee Pyron even has ****ing hair style and facial hair of many Go Nagai characters, as well other anime characters from the 70s, such as Akira Fudo, Koji Kabuto, Susa Shingo, Ryo Utsugi, even Ryoma Nagare from Getter Robo has the same hair style. To me adding the trivia is overall redundant and irrelevant. Such things are maybe relevant on the the tv trope website, but not here. I would like to keep out of this, BUT!
