I can't find "Lycan" on manga, despite of this, the name "Oyaji" appear even in the character file No. 113, in Vol 21 (old version), pag 86. Lycan means "Wolf" and is a greek word... this could be corroborated when Horohoro reminds Damuko... Althought... if the info of Pilika and Horohoro father appears on mentalite (and his name "Lycan"), i am wrong--Cactustelefonogato 07:32, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

corroborated... a half, the ainu peoples often uses animals names, like Native americans, but in their language--Cactustelefonogato 07:42, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
His name appears in the reprints' volume 17 Shaman Files (#236), and in the Mentalite as well. Meo-chan 07:46, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Well... is an informal word meaning "dad"... but "Lycan" isn't very ainu... i guess--Cactustelefonogato 07:48, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Actually Lycan is verry Ainu like as it refers to a wolf. --Gojita 11:52, 31 July 2009 (UTC)Gojita
Ah, Horohoro's name, Horokeu, refers to a wolf actually... Lycan really doesn't seem to have any meaning in Ainu (that I've seen), it is just the name Takei picked, with reason or not. Meo-chan 19:11, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
