Vampire Bats (吸血
About[]
Because of the persecution they faced in life, Dracula's descendants came to hate humans and this hatred carried on after their deaths. 500 years ago, Asakura Hao—known as "Hydro" at the time—approached the descendants and, through the Chō-Senjiryakketsu, enabled the spirits to transform into vampire bats, matching the legend of Dracula.[3]
After being bats for centuries, they lost human egos but also their human intelligence, so they obey the commands of their shaman without question.[4]
Over Souls and Attacks[]
Boris uses blood as a medium for the vampire bats. He typically has them take the form of a cape,[5] which he can turn into vapor to mask his movements so he can sneak attack targets,[6][3] as well as form into clawed wings to drain others of their blood[7] and to fly.[2] If any part of the cape is damaged or broken off, the bats can easily reform and multiply in order to swarm an opponent and drain them of their blood.[5]
Boris can also use them to manipulate the platelets in the collected blood in order to quickly heal himself.[3]
- Attacks
- Death by Impalement (串刺しの刑 Kushizashi no Kei): Boris charges his blood within the vampire bats with spiritual power and creates blood spikes, which are held by the bats.[3] He can instantly impale all of his opponents on the spikes. It is supposed to kill instantly, but this is never seen as Ryu, Horohoro, and Ren quickly blocked and destroyed the spikes.[8]
