YVS (ヤービス Yābisu), also called Yahabe (ヤハべぇ Yahabē), is a god-type robot[1] developed by Purplesoft through funding from Daremoine.[2] It serves as the Guardian Ghost of Kamogawa Yohsuke.[3]
About[]
YVS is a small yellow robot shaped like a pyramid with two arms, two legs, and a single green eye.[4] It also has a coin slot on its back.[1]
Tamurazaki Midori's computer company, Purplesoft, developed the robot with funding from Oyamada Mansumi and Daremoine.[2] Under orders from Spimea Lasso, Midori sent YVS to Kamogawa Yohsuke.[5]
YVS views money as a food source and has an unquenchable love for money, cruelly demanding that Yohsuke should pay it before he commits suicide, saying he would not need the money anyway.[1] As such, YVS is an avaricious individual and an unabashed elitist, who vehemently despises those it views as middle or low class and refuses to be in crowds of such commoners.[6]
YVS has questionable if not downright, non-existent morals. It approached a younger Yohsuke and took advantage of the boy's desperation, lack of self-esteem, and suicidal thoughts in order to utilizes his vulnerabilities to manipulate him and trick him into debt, all the while helping to feed and nurture his hatred for the world,[1] and turning him essentially into his main enforcer.[6]

YVS is an intelligent robot and capable of independent thought and action. It is also capable of floating in midair.[1]

YVS cards
In exchange for money, YVS dispenses special cards, called YVS Cards. These cards grant a large variety of supernatural powers and effects,[1] such as reversing and stopping time or x-ray and shamanic vision.
