She found out about the team stipulation of the second round and joined with Pino Graham and Tona Papik Cadimahide to form The Icemen team. Her team was paired up against Yoh, Ryu, and Faust of Team "Funbari Onsen". She and her teammates had a little fun with Team "The Ren" before the match showing off their respective powers. Just before the match on the battlefield, Yoh showed Team Icemen his new Double medium the "Spirit of Sword". The Icemen were frightened by this show but wanted to fight. They first concentrated their attacks on Faust and was beaten back by Faust's new gigantic Over Soul. They next tried with Ryu and was also beaten back by Ryu's massive Over Soul. They finally attacked Yoh but their attacks were completely worthless. Yoh then wanted them to attack at full force which the group happily obliged to as The Icemen launched their final attack but were finally beaten by the Spirit of Sword and were knocked out of the tournament.

Zria was seen after the fight with Yoh and the gang. She had lightened up considerably since her team's defeat.
